Meet the Derek Magic Team
Singapore’s trusted children’s party entertainers
Planning a memorable birthday party starts with choosing the right entertainment.
At Derek Magic, our team includes experienced kids’ magicians and creative party artists dedicated to making children’s celebrations fun, interactive and memorable.
Whether you are looking for a kids’ magic show, animal magic show, science magic show, balloon sculpting, face painting or another party activity, we will help you find a suitable team member for your event.
More Than One Magician. One Trusted Team.
Derek Magic was founded by children’s magician Derek Lee in 2014 with one simple goal: to create magical experiences that children will remember long after the celebration ends.
Over the years, that vision has grown into a team of magicians, party artists and entertainment providers who share the same commitment to professionalism, engagement and quality.
Each team member has a different area of expertise. Our magicians provide interactive shows, while our party artists offer activities such as balloon sculpting, face painting, glitter tattoos and caricature drawing.
Together, we help families create fun, well-organised and memorable celebrations across Singapore.

These services may be booked individually or combined with a magic show to create a more complete party programme.
Balloon Sculpting
Our balloon artists create colourful balloon sculptures for children to enjoy and bring home after the celebration.
For events with larger groups, simpler designs are recommended so that more children can receive a balloon within the booked duration.
Glitter Tattoos
Glitter tattoos are colourful, quick to apply and popular with children of different ages.
They are especially suitable for events where the host would like a creative activity that can accommodate more children.
Caricature Drawing
Our caricature artists create personalised cartoon portraits that children and families can keep as memorable souvenirs from the event.
Party Games
Our party game hosts conduct interactive activities that keep children active, involved and entertained.
The suitability of party games depends on the group size and available venue space.
How We Recommend the Right Team Member
Every celebration is different.
Before making a recommendation, we consider the following:
Your Child's Age
Different age groups respond better to different types of humour, magic and audience participation.
A programme suitable for preschool children may be different from one designed for older primary-school children.
Your Preferred Programme
Some magicians specialise in kids’ magic, while others provide animal magic or science magic.
Our party artists also specialise in different activities, including balloon sculpting, face painting, glitter tattoos and caricature drawing.
Your Venue
Condominium function rooms, restaurants, schools, community spaces and larger event venues may require different arrangements.
We may also recommend a suitable performance area, seating arrangement and programme timing.
Your Audience Size
Magic shows can generally accommodate larger audiences.
Activities such as balloon sculpting, face painting, glitter tattoos and caricature drawing are more dependent on the number of children and the booked duration.
Team availability
Popular weekend dates, school holidays and festive periods can fill quickly.
We will recommend a suitable available magician or party artist based on your selected programme and event requirements.
