Q. What is face painting? Is it suitable for my child?
A. Face painting is the art of painting faces with color. It doesnt have to be on faces; it can be on arms or hands as well. A face painting artist will apply colorful, non-toxic inks on the child’s face or arm or hands, she will paint small things on children faces i.e. flowers, butterflies, kittens, puppies, wild animals, cartoons, etc . Children of 3 years and below are generally not comfortable with their faces being painted.
Q. Should I have face painting before the magic show or after?
A. Both options are alright but definitely not during the magic show. The child needs to be with the face painter when receiving his or her face painting and will not be able to watch the show. Hosts like to have face painting to open the party; this can buffer the late arriving guests before the magic show.
Q. Is face painting restricted to painting on the faces?
A. You can request face painter to draw on your hands or arms too.
Q. Is the paint safe and non-toxic?
A. YES, it is completely safe to use on the skin. The face paints we use are professional quality, theatrical grade cosmetic paints.
Q. What time should i start face painting?
A. Some guests will arrive before time while others after the start time. It’s alright to start face painting with the official party starting time. The face painter will work on your children first. Face painter will serve the kids at one at a time and typically one painting (arm or face) at a time. Simple face painting covers about 14 kids an hour; advanced face painting covers about 12 kids an hour. You can extend the face painting duration in advance or book 2 face painters to cover more children.
Q. How much time do you need to setup for face painting?
A. The face painter will be at your venue 5 minutes before activity start time to get ready.
Q. How do I remove the face paint?
A. Face paint on skin can be removed with mild soap and water.
Q. What does the face painter require for this activity?
A. A table and 2 chairs.
Q. Do you have packages inclusive of face painting or/and other activities?
A. Only for birthday parties. Packages are very popular and offer savings for more activities booked. Find out more here.
Q. How do I book your face painter?
A. Whatsapp me (Derek) at 90610766 to inform me your venue and when you would like to start the activity. Once i respond with his or her availability, you can confirm his or her time slot with a deposit payment. You can transfer deposit via paynow, paylah or bank transfer. The remaining payment should be made on the event day itself.
